Jodha Akbar: Paridhi Sharma’s exit a publicity gimmick?

Looks like Jodha’s walk out from the show is not real after all

Paridhi Sharma aka Jodha threatened to leave her current show Jodha Akbar citing issues with the director Santram Verma and her co-star Rajat Tokas. Sharma felt that she was being harassed for no fault of hers. In fact Paridhi has decided to take up this matter with the show’s producer Ekta Kapoor and is hoping to resolve all issues. However, looking at the way things have played out in past few days we wonder if the makers and the actor are hand-in-gloves and decided to play the ‘I quit!’ card to grab eyeballs. Considering that neither Paridhi nor Rajat or the director have issued any statement confirming thsi exit, it looks like an orchestrated act.

Recently telly land witnessed quite a few walk outs, be it Karan Singh Grover who was shown the door by the makers of Qubool Hai due to the actor’ attitude or thenMadhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon‘s hero Vivian DSena aka RK who left the show only to return as another character and made headlines.

With falling TRPs troubling the Jodha Akbar team, we will really will not be surprised if Paridhi‘s walk out was staged and just another publicity gimmick, hai na?
