Seems like Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Pakistani counterpart Nawa Sharif didn't limit their discussions just to how they could improve the relations between India and Pakistan alone.

After Nawaz Sharif shared how his mother got emotional upon seeing Heeraben (Modi's mom) feed him with sweets on TV before the swearing-in ceremony, Narendra Modi sent a gift (a shawl) for Pakistani Prime Minister's mother.
Upon seeing the gift, Nawaz Sharif's daughter Maryam thanked the Indian PM for his touching gesture. "Thank u v much PM @narendramodi for the beautiful shawl for my grandmother.

My father personally delivered it to her," she wrote on her micro-blogging site. During the 50-minute meeting with Nawaz Sharif, Narendra Modi discussed security issues like 26/11 Terror Attack and recent attack on Indian Consulate in Afghanistan. This is for the first time a Pak Prime Minister has been invited for the swearing-in ceremony of Indian Prime Minister. Hats of to Namo for doing the unexpected yet again!
